Cisco Layoffs 2024 The Layoff. After tech giant cisco announced plans for its second round of layoffs this year, employees tell techcrunch that they will not know if they are affected for close to a month. Lr from last quarter is done and has been completed for sometime now.

Cisco’s workforce was approximately 85,000 before these layoffs. Cisco’s february layoff of about 4,000 employees should have left the vendor with about 80,000 employees, meaning a further 7 percent reduction could affect around 5,000 employees.
